Miniature stage!

      Things to do.

  • Collect materials.
  • Research scenery and miniature stages.
  • Sketch out and plan the layout.
  • Start process.
  • Write about finished product.

What and Why i choose to do it.

I've chosen to do a miniature stage set to transcribe the way i see the painting Ceres and harvesting cupids by Simon Vouet, I've decided to use poverty as my theme using skips and poverty ridden area's for reference.
My background for the stage will probably be based with photography but mixed media to give it a 3D effect, the aspect of the painting is the prosperity of Rome in the early 17th century its to show the freedom and life that Ceres has given them, A series of these paintings by Vouet were produced but Ceres and harvesting cupids seems to be the only remaining one.
I want to transform the painting into a poverty ridden scene with children scavenging and a women watching over them, To represent the cupids and Ceres.

I am using this link as a reference for help.
